Daughter of Henry FitzHugh, 3rd Lord FitzHugh and Elizabeth Grey. Elizabeth was a direct descendant of King John Lackland. Elizabeth was born circa 1410 and died after 1445.

Wife of Ralph Grey, son of Sir Thomas Grey and Lady Alice Neville. They were married 01 July 1435 at Ravensworth, Yorkshire and had four sons:

After her husband died in 1443, Elizabeth was sent out to France with other ladies of the English court to escort Margaret de Anjou, the intended wife of King Henry VI, to England. Elizabeth served Queen Margaret as an attendant. Her name appears on the list of recipients of gifts of jewels from the queen 1445-1446, 1446-1447, 1448-1449, 1451-1452 and 1452-1453.

Elizabeth married secondly, Edmund Montfort, son of Knight William and Joan Alderwich, Knight of Coleshill, Warwickshire, Westminister, Windsor, and London, King's Esquire, of the King's Household 1444-1460, Knight of the Shires Warwick and Gloucester, Sheriff of Warwick, Leicester Oxford, Berks, Chamberlain of the Duke of Bedford.
