BARNES SAMUEL G. BARNES, President and CEO of Fifth Third Bank Central Kentucky operations, formerly of Bay Village, husband of Susan "Sue" Harrison Barnes, died of a heart attack on July 20, 2010 Besides his wife of 43 years he is also survived by his sons, Bryan (Johanna) of Atlanta, GA and Samuel G. (Diane) Jr. of Bay VIllage; grandchildren, Samuel G. "Tripp" III and Julia Elizabeth Barnes; sister Linda (Roger) Daniel; niece Amy Daniel and nephew Brian Daniel. Funeral services were held in Lexington, KY on July 28, 2010. Graveside services will be held at Lakewood Park Cemetery on Detroit Rd. in Rocky River at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010. Memorials to Bluegrass Community Foundation, 250 W. Main St., Suite 1220, Lexington, KY 40507 or charity of your choice.
