A beautiful woman in our lives has gone from labor to reward. A strong woman who was courageous, full of love, laughter and faith. She fought a good fight and finished her course.
Brenette Denman was born on March 13, 1942 in Ratcliff, Texas, to Chester and Jewel Denman. She was the first child of eight children. She united with Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church at an early age, presently pastured by Rev. Robert Williams. She served faithfully until her demise. She attended Kennard Colored High School where she enjoyed playing basketball. She moved to Dallas, Texas, in later years and there she met and touched the lives of many friends. She never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Jewel Denman; daughter: Kristi (Deedi) Dove; and granddaughter: Ileecia McGee.
She is survived by daughter: Dondi Dove; son: Michael Dove; grandchildren: Jaiquie Dove, Chase Dove, and Chardon Dove of Dallas Texas; father: Chester Denman of Ratcliff, Texas; sisters and brothers: James Denmon (Bonnie) of Lufkin Texas, Charles Denman (Dottie) of Phoenix, Arizona, Carolyn Henderson of DeSoto, Texas, Donald Denman (Kim) of Spring, Texas, Debra Davis of Missouri City, Texas, Fannie Mask of Ratcliff, Texas, and Patsy Green (Charles) of Houston, Texas; two aunts: Dorothy Wallace and Mittie V. King of Ratcliff, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
