Per 1900-1910 Federal Census, Howard was a farmer in the Truck Farm industry. He resided in Kingwood, Hunterdon County.

New Jersey, Wills and Probate Records, 1739-1991, Page 25, states DOD: Aug 5, 1910, Probate: Sept 1910. (page 23-25) Resided in Baptistown Village, Hunterdon County. Will witnessed by: Rebecca Case, Fowler Vail & John Arnwine.

In his will, Howard appointed his wife Jeannie B; executrix and given a life estate. Both daughters: Beatrice & Agnes given remainder.

He also bequeathed his writing deak (desk) to oldest daughter
Beatrice(Stains). Must have been a special piece of furniture to be listed in his will.

His younger son, Kenneth died in 1904, at age 2 yrs.
