BELCOURT Evelyn LaVallie 79, Belcourt, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, in a Bottineau nursing home.

She was born Feb. 18, 1931, to Robert and Josephine Short in Belcourt. She married Emil LaVallie Feb. 18, 1947.

Survivors: husband; daughters, Elizabeth Bruce and Janie Wallette, both Belcourt; sons, Albert, Emil Jr., Larry, Allen, Verlin and Clayton, all Belcourt; 29 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Monday, 10 a.m., St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt.

Burial: St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt.
