The death of Mrs. Anne Brown Coffin, wife of the late John Coffin of Oakville, occurred at about 9 o'clock, Monday evening at the home of W. H. Fay on Chestnut street, where she had been employed for about five years, after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Coffin was seventy years of age and was a native of Ireland. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Arthur L. Irish of Oneonta; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Jordan of Little Lakes, town of Warren, Mrs. Hugh Mulligan of Richfield Springs, and Mrs. Edward Daly of Albany, and two brothers, Patrick Brown of West Winfield, and Michael Brown of Pardoe, Pa. The funeral was held at St. Mary's church, Wednesday morning, with interment in St. Mary's cemetery, the Rev. Father Michael F. Mooney, officiating.
