PARIS, Ill. - Funeral services for James Martin, 64, who died Saturday, July 27, 1935, at State Hospital in Kankakee, were Tuesday afternoon. Burial was in Edgar Cemetery.
Mr. Martin, well known as a threshing machine operator, was born in Hunter Township where he spent most of his life.
He is survived by his widow, Ruth; one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Givens, Paris; two sons, Irvin, Lake City, Iowa, and James Jr., at home; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Wise, Macomb, Ill.; Mrs. Della Wilson, Scottland, Ill., and Mrs. Ida Davis, Lake City, Iowa; three brothers, Elijah, Detroit, Walt, Chrisman, and Perry, Baldwinville, Ill.
