Ida died unexpectedly in her home on November 9, 2010, as a result of injuries sustained in a fall during a diabetic episode. It is a sad shock to all of us who knew Ida and we grieve the loss of this beautiful person. Predeceased by her father Farris, by her mother Victoria and her eldest brother Abe. She is survived by husband Floyd, brothers Richard and Joe, sisters Vania and Fadia, nieces Eliza and Monique, nephews Mike, Pierre and Abe.
Viewing and Prayers to take place Friday, November 19th at 7pm at Hamilton Harron Funeral Home, 5390 Fraser Street, Vancouver. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November, 20th at 12pm at St. Peter and Paul Church, 5390 West 38th Avenue, Vancouver. Interment will take place, Sunday, November 21st at 10:30 at Mountain View Cemetery, 5455 Fraser Street, Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to Ida's Fund at The Canadian Diabetes Association. Her smiling face broght joy to those she touched. She will be missed by her family and friends.
