AGED LADY PASSES TO HER REWARD
Mrs. Wm. Miller Dies at the Farm Home of Her Son, Edward Miller
Mrs. William Miller, whose husband died at his home in the east part of this city four months ago, passed away Saturday evening at the home of her son, Edward Miller, nine miles northeast of Webster City, death being caused by heart trouble.
Jessie Mathers was born in Scotland, March 15, 1834. She was married in the province of Victoria, Canada, March 9, 1858, to William Miller. After nine years' residence there they moved to Porter county, Indiana, where they lived until the spring of 1876, when they came to Iowa, locating upon the farm now occupied by their son, Edward Miller. About fourteen years ago, they left the farm and moved to Webster City. Since the death of her husband, four months ago, Mrs. Miller has lived with her son, Edward, and the funeral will be held there Wednesday afternoon at 1:30, the services to be conducted by Rev. C. H. Kamphoefner.
Mrs. Miller leaves six children, all living: Mrs. Cyrus Ashpole, Thompson, Iowa; Mrs. Ben Segar, Blairsburg; Mrs. Wm. Montgomery, Knox, N.D.; Mrs. Henry Sizemore, Clarion, Iowa; Edward Miller of Cass township; and Peter Miller of this city.
