Aaron Bateman Dead
Aaron Bateman, some years ago a citizen of Bridgeton, died at his home in Jeffersonville, Indiana, on April 5, at the age of 66 years. He lived only four days after taking sick. He leaves a wife and three grown children.
Mr. Bateman was born in Fairfield Twp, this county, November 30, 1825 and moved to Jeffersonville in March 1880. He was a carpenter and jobber by trade and was for a number of years, sexton of St. Andrew's Church, this city. He will be remembered by many of our citizens.
