Funeral services for Dona Myrtle Maxwell, 87, Rt. 1 Baxter, were held today, July 20 at 2 p.m. at the Baxter Methodist Church with interment in the Maxwell Cemetery. Bro. Roy Cross officiated.
A native of Putnam County, she was the daighter of Francis Marion and Sarah M Parkerson Wilkerson. She died July 17 at Cookeville General Hospital following an extended illness.
Suvivors include four daughters, Mrs. Donald Birdwell, Baxter, Mrs. Mae Nell Howell, Nashville, Mrs Willie Maxwell, and Mrs. Ella Davis of Baxter; five son, Charles H. Maxwell, Royal Oak, Mich., Burley Maxwell, Michigan, David W. Maxwell, cookeville, Virgil Maxwell, Baxter, Paschal Maxwell, Michigan; a sister, Mrs. Homer Scott, Huntland, Tenn.; 35 grandchildren and a large number of great-grandchildren.
