OBITUARY :
ANANIAS FERGUSON, aged 80 years, died at his home Friday morning at 7 o'clock, at Friend's Creek, of a heart attack which he suffered while Making the kitchen fire. He died before any members at his family could reach his side.

He was born at Friend's Creek, the son of Eli and Elizabeth Wilkinson Ferguson, and spent his entire life in that section.

He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic church, near Emmitsburg.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carrie Miller Ferguson, and the following children: Mrs. Joseph Stoutter, Friend's Creek; Amos Ferguson, Fairfield, Pa., R.R. 1; Miss Mary, Akron, O.; Russell, at home; Mrs. George Holtz, Sabillasville; 13 grandchidren; and one sister, Mrs. Emalyn Hardman, Blue Ridge Summit.

The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. today in St. Anthony's church, in charge of Rev. Fr. Riley. Burial will be in St. Anthony's cemetery.
