Mr. Nutt was born March 31, 1931, at San Gabriel in Milam County, a son of Pearl Nutt and Annie Wilson Nutt. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On June 6, 1951, he married Cecil Franklin in Marlin. Mr. Nutt was active in several business enterprises in the Marlin area. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Marlin.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, George Nutt and Michael Nutt both of Lott, and Garland Nutt of Marlin; a daughter Susan Nutt of Lott; four brothers, Ray Nutt, Harlan Nutt, and Billy Nutt all of Marlin, and Kenneth Nutt of Dallas; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Nunzio Dingrando, James Rowell, Don Salsiccia, Kirk Markowski, Archie Murphy, and Henry Papendorf.
