Agnes Hanna Wofford, 88, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at North Greenville Long Term Acute Care Hospital.
A native of the Kilgore Community, she was born April 28, 1922 to the late John Boyd and Mary Willis Hanna and the widow of her best friend Benjamin Franklin Wofford, Sr.
She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and the TEL Sunday School Class. She was a graduate of Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Science degree and was a retired employee with Woodruff State Bank, now Arthur State Bank.
Surviving are one son, Benjamin Franklin Wofford, Jr. and his wife Rebecca Hammonds Wofford of Enoree; one brother, John Boyd Hanna and his wife Betty of Anderson; one granddaughter, Jessica Marie Wofford of Enoree. She was pre-deceased by a brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Martha Hanna.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church by the Rev. Jerry Taylor. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
