Ambrogio Barbuto, 96, of Syracuse died Sunday at Loretto. Born in Satriano, Italy, he lived in Syracuse for 39 years. He retired in 1972 after 10 years as a construction worker at D.W. Winkelman Construction Co. He was a member of Laborers Local 333. Survivors: His wife of 67 years, the former Claudia Forzini; two daughters, Rosa Santaguida of Italy and Raffaela Failla of Mattydale; five sons, Theodore, Dominick, Frank and John, all of Syracuse , and Antonio of Liverpool; 29 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. Services: 8:15 a.m. Wednesday at Pirro & Sons Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Pompei Church. Burial, Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse . Calling hours, 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Pirro & Sons Funeral Home, 514 Turtle St., Syracuse.
