Garris T. Molden, 68, Dies At Hospital; Rites Saturday
Garris T. Molden, 68, of 238 N. Independence St., Tipton, died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Tipton County Memorial Hospital after suffering a heart attack.
He was born in Tetersburg May 29, 1904 to John and Gertrude Anderson Molden. In September 1929 he married Madge Vandevender. She died Dec. 11, 1968.
He graduated from Kokomo High School and attended the University of Illinois. He operated the G. T. Molden Insurance Agency and was a member of the Howard Masonic Lodge of Kokomo.
Surviving is one son, Stephen Molden of Orlando, Fla; three daughters, Nancy Molden, at home, Mrs. Suzanne Dunn of Rt. 1, Tipton, Mrs. Sara Halford of Westville and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Mangold officiating. Burial will follow in Tetersburg cemetery.
Masonic services will be held at 8 o'clock Friday evening at the funeral home.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon on Friday.
