JOHN HENRY HINES
The death took place at Rossway last Friday morning of John Henry Hines aged 78years. Mr. Hines was born in Digby County and was the son of the late Jacob and Margaret Hines. Early in life he went to the United States and lived there for upwards of forty years. About three years ago he returned to his old home and purchased the Major Timpany farm at Rossway.
He leaves to mourn their loss a widow, six daughters, Mrs George E.Warfield, Gardner MA., Mrs W. T. Aldrich, Springfield MA, Mrs Edwin Ward, Deering NH, Mrs C. B. Goodwin, Laconia NH, Mrs E. Green, Chester MA and Miss Mildred R., Springfield MA and one son Leslie D. of Gardner MA., one sister Mrs W.B. Cossaboom of Gardner MA also survives. He was a member of the Christain Church and Rev. J. T. Dimock officiated at his funeral which took place on Sunday afternoon with interment at Rossway.
