Elaine Dicke, 70, of 2640 N. 7th St., died Friday, October 5, 2001 at her home.
Born September 11, 1931, in Manitowoc County, Elaine was a daughter of the late David and Sophia Pfister Arnst. She moved to Sheboygan and graduated from North High School in 1949.
Elaine was employed as a cook for Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center for more than 20 years. Following her retirement she worked part time as a cook for RCS.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. The joys of her life were her three cats.
Elaine is survived by her four sons, Robert (Elena), New Mexico, William, Sheboygan Falls, Peter (Charlie), Sheboygan, David (Jenny) Sheboygan; 12 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She is further survived by one brother, Mike (Sally) Arnst, Sheboygan; four sisters, Dorothy (John) Scheidel, Sheboygan, Marie (Ray) Alford and Edie (Bud) Fahl, both of California, Emma Held, Houston, TX; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Arnst and Dora Arnst, both of California, many nieces, nephews other relatives, a very special friend, Walter Franke and many other friends. She was preceded in death by one sister, Emily Kunstman and two brothers, David and Christian Arnst.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2001, at Lippert Funeral Home 1132, Superior Ave. The Rev. Timothy Mech, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate. Relatives and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Entombment will be in Garden Terrace Mausoleum.
