Dorothy Scheidel, 81, of 2308 N. 23rd Street, passed away Monday evening, July 16, 2007 at Morningside Nursing Home.
Born September 16, 1925 in Sheboygan, Dorothy was a daughter of the late David and Sophia Pfister Arnst. She attended area schools.
On May 8, 1948, she was united in marriage to John Scheidel in Sheboygan.
Dorothy was an active member of Calvary Lutheran Church for many years. She also volunteered her time and talents at Bethesda as the manager for over 25 years.
She is survived by her husband, John; four children, James Scheidel, Sheboygan, Cindy (Mark) Crabbe, Hendersonville, NC, Jerold Scheidel, Sheboygan, and Christine Scheidel, Plymouth; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; a sister, Edie Fahl, CA; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
Funeral services for Dorothy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2007 at the Lippert-Olson Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Avenue. The Rev. Tim Kuske, pastor of Calvary Lutheran Church, will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in Lutheran Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.... The Lippert-Olson Funeral Home has been entrusted with Dorothy's arrangements.
