Miss Eula Pratt married Lee Duckworth on 24 October 1907 at Ivan, Texas. The couple moved to Abilene, Texas in 1928 from Breckenridge, Texas. Lee Duckworth operated grocery stores in Abilene until he retired in 1945. He preceded his wife in death in 1946. The couple moved to Abilene, Texas to educate their daughters and all are graduates of Abilene Christian College.
Survived by five daughters - Mrs. G.D. West, Mrs. Glen L Wallace, Mrs. Presley Smith, Mrs. Foy Brantley, Mrs. Arvin White; one brother - Finley {Pratt; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
