According to information provided by a volunteer, Mary's gravestone is next to Dea. Parker's second wife Hannah Lothrop, the former widow of Samuel Thompson of Farmington, Conn. There is no record of when Dea. Parker and the widow Hannah Thompson married, but in September 1742 Hannah was still called the widow Hannah Thompson when the estate of her deceased husband was ordered to be distributed to the heirs, including her widow's thirds. In September 1742, Dea. Parker was 60 years old.
Dea. Samuel Parker and Mary Carder m. of record June 1, 1704 at Boston, Mass. (by Rev. James Allen.) Whereas the ancestry of Dea. The date of Mary's death at Coventry, Conn. is not of printed record. Their first three children were b. of record at Boston (Samuel, Jr., Mary and James) with the four youngest of record at Coventry, Conn. (John, Esther, Phineas and Joseph.) Their dau.
