It has been stated that both Martha and Phineas are not buried here, Nathan Hale Cemetery, but it can not be proven or disproved. His parents, Samuel Parker and Mary Cardey are buried here as is his son Asa and his daughter,Mary Parker Strong is buried in South Street Cemetery.
I have placed both in "Limbo Land" until the proper cemetery can be determined. LHG

From FAG volunteer, John Pagini (#47180327):
"I could not find the graves of Phineas Parker and his wife Martha in this
Cemetery. I relied on a thorough search of the old Cemetery (within which
tombstones of this age are exclusively found), and also relied on a 1960's
inventory of plots and family burials, and neither Phineas or his wife are
listed there. Their father Samuel is buried there, and a nearly unreadable
tombstone next to his is presumed to be that of Mary Cardey, his wife. Phineas'
son Asa is buried there, and their daughter Mary who married Phineas Strong is
buried in the South Street Cemetery, a stone's through from my home."
