He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Anna Dennis White; sisters, Elizabeth Dolan and Margaret Jenkins; and brother, Lewis Bostic. He is survived by his wife, Josie Canterbury Bostic; daughter, Rose Hall; son, James Edgar Bostic; brothers, Aly Hugh and Beirne Bostick; and sister, Rosa Shirey.
