Mrs. William M. (Roberta) Allen, 51, pf 6529 Memorial, Lot No 1, Peoria, was dead on arrival at St. Francis Hospital last Thursday. Death was caused by an apparent heart attack, according to Coronoer Horace Payton.
Mrs. Allen had been a laboratory technician in St. Francis Hospital and also for Hanna Clinic 18 years prior to leaving there eight years ago.
A resident of the Peoria area most of her life, she was born in Brimfield December 6, 1919, a daughter of Hugh B. and Alice Cady Bowman. She was married to Mr. Allen in Peoria December 31, 1955.
She was a member of the Union Church of Brimfield.
Surviving are her husband of Peoria, her parents, and one sister, Mrs. Melvin (Margaret) McCoy of Brimfield.
Services were held in the Gauss Memorial Chapel in Peoria. Rev. Edward Harding officiated and burial was in the Brimfield Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Clifford Cady, Alex Sarkies, Walter Hoffman, William Baldwin, Lou Cortright and Richard Gillett.
