Nancy was the daughter of Samuel Romulus and Annie Fagan Biggs. She was born in 1923 and enjoyed life to the very fullest until her death in 1987. Nancy was the wife of the late William J. Kieckhefer with whom they had two daughters, Anne Karberg, Mary Heyer and one son, 'Bill'. She had four nieces and nephews who teased her relentlessly, but loved her dearly as she did them.

I remember the marvelous family visits in Naples. She loved complex puzzles, trap/skeet shooting, hunting birds, fishing and walking the beach looking for sea shells. I can truly say Nancy never ran out of occasions for family and friend gatherings and dinners; she could strike up a conversation with anyone and within minutes come away with their life story. I always thought she could talk the chicken right off the bone.

I miss her unconditional love and exceptional sense of humor.

Nancy's ashes were scattered. Monument is with family at Woodlawn Cemetery, Williamston, Martin County, NC.
