Russell Wilcox 1901-1981

Russell Wilcox, 79, a resident of the Good Samaritan Center in Clearbrook, died Wednesday, February 4 at the Clearwater County Memorial Hospital in Bagley.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Cease Funeral Chapel in Bagley, with the Rev. Roger Rotvold officiating. Interment was in the Bagley City Cemetery.
Mr. Wilcox was born April 24, 1901, near Solway, to John and Letti Wilcox. He was married to Beatrice Krell August 19, 1924, at Bagley. He was a long time resident of the Shevlin area, moving to Parkview Apartments in Bagley in 1978, an dto the Good Samaritan Center in Clearbrook in September 1980.
Surviving are two daughters, Irene (Mrs. Gordon) Davis and Lillian (Mrs. Russell) Anderson, both of Shevlin; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Hausman of Bemidji and Mrs. Lorence LaFontaine, Minneapolis; and a brother, Selah, Washington State.
His wife preceded him in death on January 2, 1981, and was also preceded by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.
