Aileen Bradley Carver, 83, of Lexington, Va., passed away on Friday, December 3, 2010, at the Mayflower in Lexington.

Born on June 10, 1927, in Buena Vista, the daughter of the late John Henry Bradley and Pearl Fauber Bradley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert A. Carver Sr.

Mrs. Carver was a member of the Manly Memorial Baptist Church. She was employed as a junior executive at Thalheimers Industrial Sales in Richmond, Va., for many years.

Surviving are two sons, Herbert A. Carver Jr., of Sandston, Va., and Bradley L. Carver, of Pawleys Island, S.C.; one brother, Lyle Bradley, of Vesuvius, Va.; two sisters, Zelda Allen, of Richmond, Va., and Martha Snider, of Waynesboro, Va.; two grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; and one greatgreat-grandchild.

Graveside Service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, December 5, 2010, at Stonewall Jackson Cemetery with the Dr. J. Michael Wilkens officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Va.
