Virginia Margaret Charlton, 88 of Madams Creek, Hinton died at 1:53 a.m. Monday November 29, 2010 in Rockin Chair Residential Care at Lerona following a long illness.
She was born April 9, 1922 in Hinton and was a homemaker and attended Riverview Chapel in Hinton. She was an avid gardener and was a former member of the Bluestone Lake Garden Club in Hinton.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl E. Charlton on April 22, 2001.
Survivors include three daughters, Nancy Bragg and husband John of Lehigh Acres, FL, Betty Bock and husband Ron of Hinton and Ellen Reed and husband David of Hinton.
Seven grandchildren; Sandra Kay Morgan, Jo Ellen Stanley, Melissa Dollins, Scott Trainum, Amy Mansfield, Vicki Cooper and Michael Reed.
Twelve great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday December 3, 2010 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Ronald Cobb and Pastor Sterling Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until time of services on Friday at the funeral home and after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the home of Betty Bock at 1005 Taylor St. Hinton, WV.
Pallbearers will be; Scott Trainum, Michael Reed, Neil Morgan, Eric Stanley, Bill Dollins, Rusty Mansfield, Zac Trainum, Hunter Stanley, Wesley Dollins and Ethen Mansfield.
