Mr. Pollock was born in Lewis county, Tenn., April 2, 1885, and attended school there. In 1901, in Hohenwald, Tenn., he was married to Miss Mandy Peevihouse, who passed away October 23, 1933.
He moved to Pemiscot county 24 years ago and engaged in farming until going to Farmington three years ago.
On September 20, 1940, at Blytheville, he was married to Mrs. Della White, who survives. He also leaves five sons, William, Leonard, Herbert, Aroz and N.L. Pollock, all of Ridgely, Tenn.; two daughters, Mrs. Nettie Tanner of this city and Mrs. John Edwards of Hohenwald; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie James and Mrs. Jane Edwards, both of Hohenwald; 33 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
