"Mrs. N. Kelson Dies After Long Illness --- Elizabeth Taylor Kelson, 82, wife of Niels Kelson, died at 5:28 p.m. Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. M. (Grace) Jorgenson. She suffered a stroke about 18 months ago and had been an invalid since and had been in a serious condition for the past six months.
"Mrs. Kelson was born in Ephraim, Jan. 16, 1863, a daughter of George and Mary Ann Quinn Taylor, and had always made her home here. She was married to Mr. Kelson Nov. 29, 1883, and 9 children were born to the union, 4 of whom survive: Mrs. Glen (Ruth) Moss, Farmington; Mrs. Jorgenson of Ephraim; Mrs. N. E. Anderson (Lella) and Mrs. W. J. Christensen (Mildred), Salt Lake City. All except Mildred were present when death came and she had returned to Salt Lake only last Saturday after being here for some time.
"Mrs. Kelson was the last of the Taylor family of 5 sisters and two brothers. Surviving beside her husband and four daughters are 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. One grandson is in the navy.
"Funeral services for Mrs. Kelson will be held Saturday at two o'clock in the West ward chapel under direction of the Buchanan mortuary."
