Born in Norway. Immigrated to Wisconsin in about 1850 with his sister Anne Sophie Thoresdatter. His parents and siblings followed in 1853. Ole purchased land at Highland Township, Iowa County, Wisconsin, where his parents were buried. Later he moved west.

Death Record clearly is dated 1898 on top, but twice within the document referenced as 1893.
