Services for Evie Bales, 71, Sharpsville, R.R. 1, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Tipton, with the Rev. Kurt H. Germel officiating. Burial will be in Sharpsville Cemetery. Calling at the church will be Friday an hour preceding services.
Mrs. Bales died in Tipton County Memorial Hospital at 1 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 1981.
Born Oct. 16, 1909 in Tipton County, she was a daughter of Fred and Mary (Becker) Tolle. She was married December 30, 1947, to Roy Bales, who died June 29, 1974.
There are no immediate survivors. A twin sister preceded her in death.
A former resident of Greentown, she was a homemaker and member of Emanuel Lutheran Church and the Indiana Alligators CB Club.
