Mary Gregg was the daughter of George Harper (1808-1874) and Lucinda Bramblett (abt 1806-1840) and was a sister to my great grandmother Zarelda (Harper) Noland, wife of Russell Noland...also brothers Henry C. Harper and Ambrose Dudley Harper and their family who are also buried at Woodlawn.
There has been some misunderstanding regarding George's wife Sarah, who is listed with him in the 1860 census in Jackson County. She was actually his 2nd wife, and were married in Kentucky before they and the children of his first wife moved to Missouri sometime between February and August 1850.
George and Sarah Harper had a son born in Kentucky in Feb. 1850. The son Henry C. Harper (1836) was 14 when they moved from Kentucky leaving his mother's body in Kentucky....probably Bourbon County - date of death and location unknown at this time.

According to her online death certificate, Mary was the daughter of George Harper, born in Harper's Ferry, Va. (any relationship?) and a Miss Bramblett, birthplace unknown. She died of liver cancer. T.N.
