Lucille Fisher, age 99, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on April 19, 1915, in Comanche, to David H. and Ada Jane (Matthews) Beene.

On February 10, 1937, she was united in marriage to Cecil Fisher in Comanche County. He preceded her in death on December 2, 1960.

She worked at Harelik's Deparment Store in Comanche for many years and for sixteen years she was employed by Higginbotham Bros. in Comanche. Inez was devoted to her family and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She lived at The Whitestone for twelve years, where she enjoyed visiting with friends and playing forty-two.

She is survived by her daughter, Zulean Poynor and husband Johnny of Comanche; son, Dale Fisher and wife Vicky of San Angelo; seven grandchildren: Britt Poynor and wife Marla, Penny Whitten and husband Sam, Jodie Coady, Glenn Neal and wife Tracey, Joy Box and husband, J.R., Greggary Fisher and wife, Jena, and Jill Shearer; fifteen great-grandchildren; and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two infant children; one grandson, one granddaughter; two sisters; and three brothers.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 2 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel.
