Death of Well Known Citizen
Andrew Alexander died last Wednesday about noon, at his home north of town. He had been ill almost six months. A post-mortem examination disclosed that death resulted from a pyloric cancer.
Mr. Alexander was born in Clinton county, but at an early age moved to Clinton township this county. He was one of the township's most prosperous and best known citizens. he was fifty-five years old.
A wife and seven children survive him. He leaves two brothers, John T. and Wm. Alexander, both residents of this city.
The funeral took place Thursday afternoon at Union, Rev. Henderson officiating.
