Toby spent his childhood in Monte Vista and when the family moved to Montrose, Colo., he went to High School there. Toby enjoyed auto restoration, hunting, fishing and camping. Toby was a private person, and the memories left by his passing are those of love and compassion. Toby left peacefully to be with his Heavenly Father and will be greatly missed.
Toby is survived by his father, Ruben Arellano; his sons, Matthew Arellano of Denver, Jacob Arellano of Estes Park, Colo., and Christopher Arellano of Taos, N.M.; his brothers and sisters, Lee (Janetta) Gallegos of Montrose, Theresa (Manuel) Leyva of Montrose, Mary Archuleta of Grand Junction, Colo., Daniel (Patty) Arellano of Montrose, and Elva (Kenny) Leonardo of Durango, Colo.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and three grandchildren.
A visitation for Toby will be held Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Spanish Assembly of God in Montrose, followed by a Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Sacuro Andujo, also at the Spanish Assembly of God at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Grand View Cemetery in Montrose. The care and arrangements for Toby and his family are being handled under the direction and care of Valley Lawn Funeral Home, 505 S. Second St., Montrose, CO 81401 (970) 249-4400.
