Grandpa was a great man. Of course he was not perfect, but than again who is? He did give us all the life that we have today. For if it was not for him, we, the ancestors would not of ever been. I was blessed to of known grandpa (or abuelito, how many of us called him). I remember abuelo, not only as a loving man, but of a no nonsense kind of guy. He had a really good heart but if he did get upset, watch out. Now I know were I got it from. He was known as a man always in charge. He was in pretty good shape for a man of his age, but with the passing of grandma (see bio Guadalupe Hernandez)just a few weeks earlier, he seemed to of withered fast. I personally believe that he did pass away of a true broken heart, after all they had been married for more than half a century. You tell me. Rest grandpa till we all meet again.
