I remember when I was about 5, I stood at Grandma's house on Bell Street in Chicago. I cried because I was so scared but grandma held me in her arms and let me cry but just hummed a tune and rocked me to sleep in her rockng chair, that I now have. She was so sweet and I could actually say I thought of her as a true inspiration to everyone, not to mention I thought of her as a real Saint. No one compared to her being so sweet and even thru adversity in life, she never once gave up. I miss her and I know that one day we will be together again. Never take your elders for granted because one day you will wake up and they will be gone. I was so happy to be in her hospital the last week of her life, I sang to her and told her that if she was ready than we would accept it. But to watch over us always. I also read the book, "Embraced by the light by Betty J. Eadie), it did make sense after all was done and I know that your last few hours were "real" and we share that experience for ever. I do love you Abuelita, always and forever.
