Stockton -- Amelia McCormick, 77, Stockton, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2000, at Phillips County Hospital.

Mrs. McCormick was born Amelia Scheck on May 7, 1922, at Morland and was a lifetime Rooks County resident.

She was a school bus driver for Webster, the owner-operator of the K&B Cafe and worked for Bates, both in Stockton.

Her husband, Arthur, died in 1981.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Jean Look of Ringwood, Okla.; a brother, Florian Scheck of California; a sister, Barbara Lang of Loveland, Colo.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Smith-Moore-Overlease Funeral Home, 723 N. First, Stockton 67669, the Rev. Ault-Duell officiating. Burial will be in Stockton Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Stockton Ambulance service. Visitation will be from 9 am to 8 pm today at the funeral home.
