Mr. Arthur M. Hagen, age 87, of Waupaca, Wisconsin, passed away Saturday, July 23rd, 2005 at Bethany Home. Mr. Hagen was born in Rosholt, Wisconsin on March 3, 1918, he was the son of the late Hans and Julia (Lee) Hagen. On Aug 31, 1944, he married Nona (Way) Hagen in Mt. Vernon, Wisconsin.

Arthur served in the United States Army during World War II attaining the rank of Technical Sergeant.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Waupaca, Wisconsin. He was a Barber for over 32 years. He was the owner of Art's Barber Shop in Verona and later moved to the Waupaca area in 1973, where he completed his career at the Wisconsin Veterans Home. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, woodworking, reading, watching the Milwaukee Brewers & Green Bay Packers and spending time with his family.

He is survived by Wife: Nona Hagen, Waupaca; Children: Dale (Audrey) Hagen, Verona; Phillip (Linda) Hagen, Appleton; Howard (Renee) Hagen, Waupaca; Susan Hagen-Wesche, Vermont; Julie (Patrick) Hagen-Coenen, Waupaca; Marilee (Scott) Shambeau, Waupaca; Sisters: Hattie Haroldson, Waupaca; Vivian (Pat) Christensen, Aurora, Illinois; June Spehn, Waupaca; Delores Wilson, Waupaca; Burnell (John) Morton, Verona; Ruth (Robert) Pierce, Illinois; Brothers: Glen (Vernon) (Prudie) Hagen, Waupaca; Robert (Carol) Hagen, Mt. Horeb, WI. ,Thirteen Grandchildren: Tim (Mary Lou) Hagen, Verona; Amy Hagen; Verona; Jackilee Severin, Waupaca; Michael Hagen, San Francisco, CA; Evan, Steve & Valerie Hagen, Waupaca; Grace Wesche, Vermont; Travis (Shasta) Wesche, Hew Hampshire; Sam & Eli Coenen, Waupaca; Seth & Claire Hanson, Waupaca, Step-Granddaughter: Amber Shambeau, Waupaca and Seven Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Daughter: Linda Hagen, Two Grandsons: Nebadon Wesche and Todd Hagen, and Sister: Irene Dobbe.

Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Waupaca, Wisconsin. at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 27th, with Reverend Sean Motley officiating.

Interment will be in the Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
