Glen Vernon Hagen, age 88, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Bethany Home. Glen was born in the Town of Alban, Portgae County on January 14, 1924, the son of the late Hans and Julia (Lee) Hagen. He was baptized and confirmed in the Alban Lutheran Church.

He served in the US Navy and on April 14, 1945 was married to Prudence Tobie at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Evanston, IL. They moved back to Waupaca in 1946 and Glen worked at Don's Construction Co. until retiring. He enjoyed fishing and was a very loving husband and father and enjoyed his family.

Before his eyesight failed, he loved to read, do needlework and puzzles. He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca.

Glen is survived by his wife of 66 years; his children: of Waupaca and Appleton; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; a brother of Mt. Horeb, WI and his sisters; of Waupaca; Seneca, IL and Verona, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, 4 sisters, a grandson Joshua Hagen and brothers & sisters-in-law.

A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 11 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca.

Burial of cremains will be in the Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 10 AM until the time of services at the church. Holly Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
