Chere (Bebe) Shollenbarger Riegger, 60, died suddenly on November 22, 2010 at her home. She was a long time resident of Corrales and a breast cancer survivor for 15 years. Chere is survived by her sister, Rene Shollenbarger, of Bernalillo; a half-sister, Jeanne Stevens of Jemez Springs; and a half-brother, Robert Scott, of Trinidad, Colorado. She had many friends and kept in touch with numerous childhood friends she grew up with in Springer, NM. Chere was a talented artist and created beautiful paintings and other works of art but the real joy and passion of her life were her animals. She loved horses and was involved in the Arabian Horse Association for many years. She had an abundantly compassionate heart for any animal in need and rescued birds of all kinds as well as cats and special needs dogs. There wasn't a creature that she wouldn't try to save. She will be remembered by close friends and family at a private memorial service. Please visit our online guest book for Chere at: RememberTheirStory.com. FRENCH 9300 Golf Course Rd.
