Mrs. Carmina Miranda Zeppetelli, 84, of Vosburg Road, died Thursday evening, December 16, 2010 at Ellis Hospital, after a brief illness. A native and lifelong resident of Mechanicville, born December 13, 1926, daughter of the late Ferdinand and Edith Zennaiter Miranda. Carm was a 1944 graduate of Mechanicville High School. An audit clerk with the NYS Department of Tax and Finance in Albany for 15 years, Carm had also worked for a number of years as a secretary for the former Izzo's Chrysler-Plymouth dealership in Mechanicville. A communicant of the Assumption-St. Paul Church in Mechanicville, she also belonged to the church's Rosary Altar Society, former member of the Junior Dante Club, was a former longtime bowler and bocchi ball player, enjoyed card playing, and loved the company of her large extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas "Windy" Zeppetelli, who died in 1974; a sister, Aminda Polonis and her brother, Saverio "Sam" Miranda. Survivors include her two daughters, Karen (Tom) Drechs-ler of Georgia, Mary Jean Zeppetelli of Mechanicville; three granddaughters, Sarah and Laura Drechsler and Erica Mutch; and great-granddaughters, Lila and Abby. Also her three sisters, Jane (Anthony) DeSieno of Mechanic-ville, Dolores Cuomo of Water-ford and Patricia (Leonard) Desmond of Florida; sister-in-law, Marie Miranda of Mechanicville; along with many nieces, nephews and their families.
