Second husband to Viola Claire (POwning) Ingalls. Married on December 3 1921. raised Burnell Leslie, George Claire Sr., and Robert Weaver Ingalls and when George Claire Jr. needed raising later Viola and Edgar raised him.Great as a grandfather for all of his step grandchildren.
Parents were Tuolumne County Pioneers William Wallace Hill and Sarah Mildred (Hanson) HIll. One of seventeen children.His siblings were Rosa (Rowe), Charles E.,Ida Irene (Blacknell),Cordelia Elizabeth (Bucknam),George wallace,Lilly (Kelley),Laura Belle (Sutton), Frances Henry,Lavonia Elizabeth (Terzich),John A.,Walter A.,Clara Helen (Goodwin),Lester E., William, Fred and Harry Hill.
