Cordelia was the wife of John David Bucknam, to whom she married on July 4 1898 in Sonora. She was the mother of Mildred Irene, Adeline Belle, John William, Ruth Mary and George D.Bucknam.
Along with her husband, Cordelia was associated for many years in the operation of the popular Dardanelles Resort on Sonora Pass Highway.
She was a member of the Tuolumne Star Chapter No. 123, Order of the Eastern Star; Sierra Rebekah Lodge No. 245; and Past Noble Grands Association, all of Sonora.
Eastern Star funeral services were held at the chapel of the Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home, and members of the Rebekah lodge conducted the graveside rites.
