He was the son of the late William Lamb and Osie Ann Jarvis Lamb. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Metz Lamb; and brothers, Cecil, Henry, Herb, Bert, and Carlton; sisters, Mary Lamb and Ruth Hicks.
He is survived by:

Daughters: Leona Jackson and Helen Young.
