BERNADETTE BARRETTE, 84, of 86 Fall St. died yesterday at home. She was the widow of Alphonse Barrette.

Born in Armagh, Quebec, a daughter of the late Narcisse and Leontine (Brochu) Letendre, she lived in Woonsocket for many years.

Mrs. Barrette had been an inspector for the Keith & Keith Textile Co. in Attleboro, Mass. She had also been a cook's helper at Residence St. Antoine. She was a member of the Fairmount Manor Tenants Association.

She leaves three sons, Rene Barrette of Cumberland, and Roger and Arthur Barrette, both of Woonsocket; two daughters, Claire Levreault of Woonsocket and Lucille Ricci of Lincoln; two brothers, Cyrille Letendre of Bellingham, Mass., and Urbain Letendre of Central Falls; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis Church, Rathbun Street. Burial will be in Precious Blood Cemetery in Bellingham, Mass.
