Barbara Flynn Caldwell

Barbara Flynn Caldwell, 78, of Goodman, died March 11, 2005, at Quality Hospice of the Gulf Coast in Biloxi.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, March 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Durant with Rev. J. R. Hall and Rev. Walter Hughley officiating. Interment was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Goodman. Southern Funeral Home of Durant was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Caldwell, a former caterer, was born on July 9, 1926, in Springfield, Wisconsin to James and Florence Henry Flynn. She was a member of Shrock United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Caldwell was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Thomas "Ed" Caldwell; a brother, Bill Flynn; a sister, Judy Olivas; and a granddaughter, Cristin Caldwell.

Survivors include her sons James "Rickie" (Meryl) Caldwell of Bayou Blue, LA; Jerry (Ruby) Caldwell of Carrollton, and Steve (Cheryl) Caldwell of Kosciusko; daughters Margaret (Ron) Chester of Ocean Springs, and Jeanne (Ray) Wise of Louise; a brother, Mick Flynn of Delevan, WI; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Russ Wise, Jeremy Williams, Michael Bankston, Brian Nelms, Kevin Adams, Jason Hohertz, Mark Baumgarten, and Kenneth Cole.
