Beatrice Ruth Rudolph, 85, of Streamside Drive died at 7:45 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, at Miller's Merry Manor at Hope.

She had worked at Reliance Shirt Factory, Holiday Inn and Cummins Engine Co. She was a member of Garden City Church of Christ and Order of Eastern Star.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home on Washington Street with Smiley Bennett officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to service time Thursday. Entombment will be at Garland Brook Mausoleum.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana or Arc of Bartholomew County.

Mrs. Rudolph was born in Columbus April 16, 1915, the daughter of Raire and Agnes Pearce Fox. She married Earl Roy Rudolph Feb. 24, 1940. He died Jan. 8, 1983.

Surviving are a son, Donald "Rudy" Rudolph of Reddington; a daughter, Sue Lain of Columbus; brothers, Carl and Frank Fox, both of Columbus; a sister, Phylis Rothrock of Columbus; grandchildren, Damita Henderson of Nashville, Denisa Rudolph and Brad Lain, both of Columbus, and Andrea Rudolph of Reddington; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.
