Etoil was the young daughter of Dovard B and Alice Lenora Hollingsworth. Shortly after her death they moved just a little south to Petal, Mississippi. D.B. worked for the postmaster from 1918 until he retired in 1950. They raised 4 Daughters, Flora, Luva D, Lecil and Essie Faye and one son D.B. Jr. . The family is buried in Greens Chapel cemetery in Petal.
